Booth Memorial Hospital, located in the suburb of Oranjezicht under Table Mountain, Cape Town, opened in 1917. Initially a maternity unit, it later became a long-term frail age facility, and now functions as a sub-acute hospital. The hospital serves patients referred from major tertiary hospitals in the city bowl area and offers comprehensive healthcare services.

• Rehabilitation for patients with conditions such as recent stroke, fracture, joint replacement, amputation, or head injury.
• Convalescence care following acute hospital treatment.
• Terminal care for patients in the end stage of illness, with a dedicated ward for HIV/AIDS/TB patients.
