About Us :

The National Hospital of Dermatology and Venereology (NHDV) is Vietnam’s top public hospital specializing in dermatology and venereology. Founded in 1954 (originally as a department under Bach Mai Hospital), it became an independent national institute in 2006 and adopted its current name in 2009. NHDV is responsible for research, diagnosis, treatment, prevention, and rehabilitation of skin diseases and sexually transmitted infections (STIs). The hospital is also a major center for training, scientific research, reconstructive and cosmetic surgery, skin care, and international cooperation. It is staffed by over 330 professionals, including professors, associate professors, PhDs, and experienced clinicians, many trained both domestically and internationally.

I’ve travel all the way from UK to get my son treated here for his skin condition. I was very pleased with the doctor & nurses, they were very friendly and treated my son skin condition straight away as they knew what they were doing. All the procedures were very quick from the start to the end.

It's OK. You have to wait most of the time (with me it take 3 hours) but we understand that we have a lot of patience. Firstly, you fill a form at the main entrance with some basic information then give it to the front door assistant, he then will give you a queue number. Then you basically follow the guides step by step from paying fee to perform testing and finally wait for diagnosis. Due to this dense area, only motorbikes are allowed to park inside and the parking space is also limited. I often follow some medicine journals like NEJM and it seems their testing and diagnosis is much more careful and detailed; maybe my case was clear and simple.
