Founded on March 23, 1953, Military Hospital 109 is a Level I hospital under the Logistics and Technical Department of Military Region II. It serves as the final referral center for the armed forces in the region and provides comprehensive medical care for military personnel, veterans, and the general public in Vinh Phuc and neighboring provinces. The hospital is renowned for its highly skilled, ethically committed medical staff and its tradition of combining military discipline with compassionate, patient-centered care. With a campus of nearly 10 hectares, the hospital is organized into interconnected functional zones, including 9 internal medicine departments, 7 surgical departments, 8 paraclinical departments, and a high-demand outpatient clinic. It is also a major training and practice center for medical students and a leader in medical research and innovation
