The Hoai Nhon Center for the Care of People with Mental Illness is a specialized institution providing long-term care, management, and rehabilitation for people with severe mental illnesses. The center operates 24/7 and is responsible for both medical and social support, focusing on individuals with no family support, those who are homeless, or those considered dangerous to the community. The facility is led by Director Mr. Doan The Tuan and is recognized for its commitment to the welfare and rehabilitation of mentally ill patients

Originally designed for 400 patients, it currently houses over 500, leading to high staff workloads and limited space. The staff provides round-the-clock care, including during frequent patient health crises
