Bệnh viện Đa khoa tỉnh Yên Bái is a Class I provincial hospital and the highest-level healthcare facility in Yên Bái Province. The quality of medical examination and treatment is an issue of great concern to the community and society, because it has a direct impact on patients and affects the quality of life of many people. In recent years, the Party, the State and the National Assembly have paid attention to issuing many important documents on medical work. In 2013, the Ministry of Health issued Circular No. 19/2013/TT-BYT dated July 12, 2013 on Guidelines for implementing quality management of medical examination and treatment services at hospitals. Every year, the work of assessing hospital quality continues to receive special attention, and the set of criteria for assessing CLBV is renewed every year. In 2016, the Ministry of Health issued Decision No. 6858/QD-BYT dated November 18, 2016 on promulgating the set of criteria for hospital quality in Vietnam with the main viewpoint being: Taking patients as the center of treatment and care activities, medical staff is the key to all medical examination and treatment activities. The set of criteria encourages, orients and promotes hospitals to improve quality in order to provide safe, quality, effective medical services and bring satisfaction to patients.
