About Us :

Cahaba Medical Care is a Community Health Center (FQHC), accredited as a Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH) by the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) and Joint Commission. We have locations throughout central Alabama serving Bibb, Perry, Chilton, Shelby, Wilcox, and Jefferson Counties. Our health centers provide comprehensive primary care services, including treatment and management of chronic and acute diseases; preventative care and cancer screenings; pediatric care; women’s health services; prenatal care and obstetrics; dermatological services; geriatrics; sports medicine services; mental healthcare; dental services and much more.

Our clinics are currently staffed by more than 60 healthcare providers, 13 social workers/licensed counselors, two registered dietitians, and a dedicated team of nurses and medical assistants whose job it is to assist our patients in becoming healthier individuals.

This is a very caring and attentive facility. I'm grateful that they do not treat you any less important even though many of us are lacking insurance and are unable to attain expensive healthcare. The nurse practitioner here is most attentive and really listens. The staff is always welcoming and really prompt about time. I have been in the care of this facility for almost 2 years and I am very grateful that they are here.
