CAMRI (Chittaranjan Advanced Medical Referral Institute), formerly Burdwan Diagnostic & Research Centre Pvt. Ltd., was established in 1996 by a group of businessmen and medical professionals to provide advanced healthcare in Burdwan. Located on NH2 (G.T. Road) at Bamchandaipur, Burdwan, the hospital was envisioned by Dr. Kushanava Pabi to offer comprehensive multispeciality care—especially for cardiology and neurology—so local patients wouldn’t need to travel to Kolkata or further for advanced treatment. The hospital began operations in 2001 after renovations and has since grown steadily, becoming one of the fastest-responding hospitals in the region.
