1. A very big thank you to paediatric emergency unit, theater, and paediatric ward staff for helping my son and also looking after me during the difficult time.
The 2C ward at building 11 is equipped with individual rooms for the patients, small bed for the parents, and a bathroom. The pantry area has child-proof hot water tap, fridge and a microwave.
2. 6/2/24 I had a supine cardio perfusion scan which took over 4 hours
I am living in a rural area, have mobility issues & am unable to drive long distances, it was difficult to arrange. I had to cancel once
I have had nothing but the best treatment from every single staff person & volunteer at Canberra Hospital. It was no trouble to rearrange the appointment (twice), I was given assistance to get to the clinic & back to my pickup point. I was very well informed of the test procedures, side effects & after care in all instances - staff were efficient & so very nice
I have had over 70 medical tests during the last three years and over 100 visits to medical practitioners, My experience at Canberra Hospital has been the best I have ever had. Thank you all so much. It made a real difference to me.
