I had a recent visit to the ER and was genuinely impressed with the quality of care I received. The service was quick, and every member of the team was compassionate and professional. Marsha, RN, was warm and helpful during the initial triage process and made me feel at ease right away. Michael, RN, was my nurse and did a fantastic job—he was kind, attentive, and thorough. I barely felt the IV stick, which speaks to his skill and care. Jeremy performed my CT scan and was both quick and gentle, helping to make the process as comfortable as possible. Dr. Risner took a thoughtful and methodical approach in diagnosing my condition, which I greatly appreciated. We are truly fortunate to have such a dedicated and capable team at our community hospital

My husband ended up in the ER late at night on a busy Friday night in July. We were from out of town. 5 hours from home on a trike, pulling a camper. No other means of transportation and I don't drive the trike. It appeared he could most likely need transportation to a hospital in Louisville an hour further from our home with no means of transportation for me in your small county. No Uber, Lyft, taxi, rental cars. No friends or family to help. The nurse, staff, doctor on duty were all wonderfully sympathetic to our situation, extremely helpful both medically and with our situation. The solution we all came up with worked out beautifully. We are home, able to get treatment for him locally. Thanks SO MUCH!!
