Central Alabama Wellness is a public, non-profit mental health organization serving Chilton and Shelby Counties in Alabama since 1972. It provides a wide array of outpatient services for individuals of all ages dealing with mental illness, substance use disorders, and intellectual disabilities. The organization operates multiple offices in Calera, Clanton, Pelham, and Birmingham, and is governed by a board appointed by local county commissions. Central Alabama Wellness is certified by the Alabama Department of Mental Health and is a member of the Alabama Council for Community Mental Health Boards
