But our roots run much deeper than that, dating all the way to 1909, when the first Central Carolina Hospital opened its doors. A little over five years ago I was admitted to the Emergency Room Department. I was in a rough way after not sleeping and eating for almost two weeks. Whoever was on staff at the time took the appropriate measures and stepped in to save me. They were very professional and gracious to me and at the time I was anything but that to them. God bless Central Carolina Hospital for the awesome and many times thankless job they do whilst providing the utmost care and skill. I am glad you all understood that I was going through something.
