Established in 1986, Rafsanjan University of Medical Sciences (RUMS) is a public institution dedicated to advancing healthcare education, research, and services in the Rafsanjan region. The university comprises five schools: Medicine, Dentistry, Nursing & Midwifery, Para-medicine, and Health. RUMS manages or supervises four hospitals and all urban and rural health centers and clinics in Rafsanjan and Anar counties .
