Centro de Medicina Hiperbárica is a pioneering medical facility in Costa Rica specializing in hyperbaric oxygen therapy (OHB) and advanced wound care. Founded in 2001, it was the first of its kind in the country, initially operating with a single chamber and a small team at Hospital La Católica. Due to excellent patient outcomes and growing demand, the center expanded in 2018 to a modern, spacious location next to Hospital La Católica, Guadalupe, San José. The center’s mission is to provide state-of-the-art, compassionate care for patients with chronic wounds, diabetic foot, tissue damage from radiotherapy, osteomyelitis, and other conditions that benefit from hyperbaric therapy.
