About Us :

The Matamoros International Medical Center (CMI Hospital) is the most important hospital development in the region. Located in the geographic center of Matamoros, Tamaulipas, the International Medical Center (CMI Hospital) has strategic access to major highways and three international bridges. The Matamoros International Medical Center (CMI Hospital) offers everything in one place: modern infrastructure, advanced technology, and more than 65 specialists and subspecialists who are part of the medical staff of the Matamoros International Medical Center (CMI Hospital). The CMI Matamoros Campus consists of the International Medical Center (CMI Hospital) with its Emergency Departments, Critical Care, Digital Radiology (CT, OPEN MRI), Inpatient Care, General Surgery, and Outpatient Surgery. Additionally, it houses seven buildings consisting of the Dialysis Center, Magnetic Resonance Imaging, Guadalajara Pharmacies®, LISTER Clinical Laboratory®, and 60 medical offices. Emergency and Critical Care services are available 24 hours a day, staffed by ACLS and ATLS-trained Emergency Physicians with direct access to a Shock Trauma and Recovery Area, 5 operating rooms, 5 COVID-19 Isolation Intensive Care Units, a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, and 20 private rooms.
