Established in 1909, CGH Medical Center is a progressive acute care facility located in the heart of the Sauk Valley, Northern Illinois. The hospital has undergone significant expansions, including new surgical suites, a birthing center, a critical care unit, and a digestive health center. CGH is committed to the health and wellness of the community, providing leadership in healthcare through public education and early detection activities. In fiscal year 2023, CGH and its 16 satellite facilities provided over $53.5 million in free and discounted care to the communities they serve.
