Established in 1909, CGH Medical Center is a progressive acute care facility located in the heart of the Sauk Valley, Northern Illinois. The hospital has undergone significant expansions, including new surgical suites, a birthing center, a critical care unit, and a digestive health center. I am extremely happy with the care I received. The ED staff were AMAZING. The staff on the 4th floor were AWESOME. Your dietary department is top notch. You appear to be on top of all the most current information and training required to provide the very best care to all your patients. I appreciate that the staff is low key with a great sense of humor while still maintain their professionalism. I hope the in hospital is taking good care of these employees, they certainly deserve it~Linda Springer
