Established in 2006, CPEIC is a premier public-sector, tertiary care cardiac institute located on Abdali Road, near Nawan Shehar Chowk, Multan, Punjab, Pakistan. Spanning approximately 61 kanals, the institute encompasses the main hospital building, nursing and doctors' hostels. It was constructed at a cost of approximately Rs. 1.373 billion. The hospital is dedicated to providing specialized cardiac care services to the population of South Punjab and neighboring regions. ​
