Initially a 50-bed facility, it expanded to 75 beds in 2013 to meet growing inpatient demand. The hospital provides vital healthcare to a region where 80% of the population lives below the poverty line. It is known for its compassionate, affordable, and ethical care, especially for the underserved. Champa Christian Hospital became an incorporated member of the Emmanuel Hospital Association (EHA) in 1974 and is a hub for both clinical services and community health programs.
