I couldn't have been more pleased with this hospital. Now I understand that many people may spend one of their worst days in a hospital, especially the ER, so emotions can run high, and ratings low. This was not our experience at all. Our experience was with my mom's surgery, having her kidney removed after cancer was found. She was checked on frequently and her comfort was top priority. She could be a handful while in pain, but the more she needed help, the nurses became even softer and more soothing. The staff couldn't have been more helpful and especially polite. Every staff member, from doctors to janitorial staff, gave me a pleasant "hello" or a smile in the hallways. The courtyard was inviting to those who needed to step away for a few moments of thought or just to get out of the room. When it was dinnertime, I was given a voucher for one of the best meals I've had, in a hospital or otherwise, and it was adorned with an orchid! There was a peacefulness surrounding the campus we just don't get in the city. I can't attest to the ER care, but if you find a doctor that works out of this hospital, I wouldn't hesitate to have a procedure or an overnight/extended stay.

I was admitted for observation because of a perforated appendix. I spent two nights in Courtyard East. The care I received was exceptional! Night nurse, Amanda C., day nurses, Heidi and Ellie, were very professional and extremely personable. All Doctors and PA’s are very dedicated to specialties.
