1. Children’s of Omaha was an absolutely amazing experience given the circumstances. Emergency staff were expeditious and yet caring. The oncology children’s department nurses (all staff for that matter) were competent, compassionate, and made us feel as if our needs were their only priority. The surgery teams were equally amazing. While we never want to be in need of care again, if we are Children’s will be at the top of our list. Thank you for the amazing care and follow up.
2. All around great experience. From the children’s go app that helped ease the stress of arriving to every staff member we had interaction with. Joanne NP was amazing, she personally walked us to the helmet lab and waited to see the results with us, we felt that she truly cared. My husband even mentioned to me on the way home, that the staff was great, now that’s a big deal.
