1. Absolutely the best emergency ever! The staff was Amazing and so caring. My son went to 3 other hospitals in 4 weeks for a injury. He was told a different story at each one. The staff here took charge and addressed the problem. He had 2 surgeries and saved his leg. They informed us of everything they were doing and most importantly made sure he was comfortable and pain free. Hands down I give them a 10 out of 10.. Thank you and stay blessed .

2. Dr. Bora and his team repaired a hernia for me at Chinook Regional Hospital on Thursday January 11, 2024. This was a day surgery appointment.

Right from the initial consultation with Dr. Bora in July 2023; I was greeted and dealt with in a timely manner. I live in Calgary so had to drive to my appointment. The hospital day surgical department I found was very professional and courteous. My appointment at 7:30 in the morning was adhered to as was the surgical time! Everyone that I came in contact with seemed very happy to help me and answered any questions that myself or my wife had. I left the hospital at around 3:00pm feeling fine with no discomfort at all. We did choose to stay in Lethbridge for 2 nights (night before and night after). This also was a great experience. Again thanks to all the doctors, nurses, and staff at Chinook Regional hospital.

I was given this option of travel by my family doctor as the wait times in Calgary are very long. It took approximately 10 months from my initial query with my GP to completion of the procedure. In my case I think this was an excellent option of getting my surgical procedure completed.
