I was amazed!! Visited the ER Sunday morning due to week old leg injury. Everyone was exceptionally friendly. I was seen within a few minutes. They took time to listen to me and treat me with concern and respect. The doctor was very nice and gentle and knew his stuff. He informed me what I could do to protect myself from infection and even gave me information for getting a primary care doctor in this area since I have recently moved. I will definitely use this ER again. I have worked 30 years in hospital out of state, and this was a refreshing experience.

Unfortunately, I’ve had my share of hospital visits and stays—mainly throughout the Dallas, TX area. But I’ve never had such a positive experience in an ER as I did at Christus, thanks entirely to the incredible staff. I was seen by six different team members, and each one contributed to making it a truly exceptional visit. They were friendly, caring, and efficient. Obviously, I hope to never need another ER visit—but if I do, I’m choosing Christus on Nelson Rd.

The wait wasn't long. The nurses and doctors listened to me explain my son’s symptoms. They tested and checked him accordingly. They make sure to check you for everything related to your symptoms. He received medication, given follow-up paperwork, and is feeling better now. If you are looking for that extra care and good services related to your health, this is the hospital to come to. This is the only hospital I like going to, and I live in another city in Calcasieu Parish. If you want your health to be taken seriously, go to this hospital.
