The Ottawa Civic has been only amazing with me. I've had two major emergency visits and resulting surgeries 10yrs apart. The ER was fast, the doctors listened and I never felt forgotten or disrespected.
The people who have the nerve to complain about the food... really it's not a spa and get over yourselves.
The ones complaining about the dirt REALLY do you realize the volume of people passing through the ER in a day and the size of that building.
When I saw the 3.2 stars I was shocked and after reading I realized where its coming from. If you want 5 star food go to the Keg and pay for it. If you want spic & span clean pay for private care.
As I head back to the ER I'm willing to make the 1hr drive knowing I'll be in good hands.
Thanks to all the health professionals who put up with the negativity. I can't do what you do.

Where do I start? The amount of care that my wife and baby received at the Civic hospital was beyond incredible. We were at the hospital for a week and the nurses and staff were so amazing. Nothing I say could do justice to the staff, they are the best of the best. Thank you so much for caring for my wife and my baby, you are actual heroes.
