I had an unexpected emergency visit and was truly impressed with the care I received. The wait time to be seen was only about 10-15 minutes, which is almost unheard of these days! Lydia, a triage nurse, was absolutely wonderful-kind, attentive, and professional. Marc, the PA, took his time listening to my concerns and clearly explained everything he was going to do, which made me feel much more at ease. Hunter, my RN, was incredibly kind and understanding throughout my stay. And Jennifer, the case manager, brought me a warm blanket without me even asking-such a thoughtful gesture that made a big difference. I have been admitted to Holy Cross West Valley on several occasions, some emergent and others scheduled. I have always been treated with respect and great care. The people really care and this shows in their performance. My last admission was emergent and a very embarrassing to me. I had two male nurses who calmed me and told me that was why they were there, to take care of me. It turned from a very embarrassing situation to a great one. Thanks for looking out for me and my family.
