The ABI 62 Standard Rabies Prevention Facility is part of a national network of over 200 (targeting 1,000) vaccination centers recognized for meeting strict standards in rabies prevention and treatment. This project, launched by AMVGroup in April 2024, aims to minimize the risk of rabies and protect public health by ensuring that every district in Vietnam has at least one certified rabies vaccination point. These facilities guarantee the continuous availability of rabies vaccines and anti-rabies serum, and operate according to strict professional protocols. The ABI map, integrated with Google Maps, connects the public to the nearest certified center for timely intervention—a critical factor in rabies exposure cases

• Rabies vaccination (pre- and post-exposure prophylaxis)

• Administration of anti-rabies serum

• Emergency assessment and management for animal bites

• Counseling and education on rabies prevention

• Surveillance, investigation, and reporting of rabies exposure cases

• All ABI-standard facilities are required to maintain continuous stock of vaccines and anti-rabies serum

• Staff participate in specialized training programs on rabies prevention (pre- and post-exposure) coordinated by the National Rabies Prevention Program and AMVGroup

• Facilities are regularly monitored for compliance with Ministry of Health standards, including vaccine storage, administration, and reporting

• Out-of-hours service is maintained to handle urgent exposure cases
