Da Nang Oncology Hospital, established on August 15, 2015, is a major public hospital specializing in cancer diagnosis, treatment, and prevention. The hospital was formed by reorganizing the Oncology Department of Da Nang Hospital and integrating resources from the Da Nang Cancer Hospital. It is a center of excellence in cancer care for Central Vietnam, providing comprehensive services including surgery, chemotherapy, radiation therapy, palliative care, and nuclear medicine. The hospital is home to 29 departments, including 6 paraclinical departments, and is actively involved in international cooperation, research, and advanced training programs

A really outstanding effort in state-sponsored cancer care. The facility is huge with plenty of spare bandwidth. There is onsite housing for patient families from out of town and also for nursing and for married doctors! All this suggests that the state is committed to providing accessible cancer care to its citizens. The staff here are young, bright and passionate about the work that they do. Full marks for this expression of the socialist ethos.
