Dong Thap General Hospital is a major public healthcare institution in Dong Thap Province, serving as a primary center for comprehensive medical care in the Mekong Delta. The hospital’s new facility, completed in 2018, features modern infrastructure with a 10-storey and a 4-storey block, and is designed to provide high-quality, intensive medical services to the local population. With a capacity of 700 beds, it aims to reduce the need for patient transfers to higher-level hospitals by offering advanced diagnostics and treatment locally. The hospital accommodates approximately 2,300 medical visits per day and is a key project for the province’s healthcare development
