While crossing the metropolitan city of Madras with about a hundred rupees in their pockets, they were enamoured by the city’s grace and decided to make it their home.

Dr. Agarwals Eye Hospital was thus founded by Late Dr. Jaiveer Agarwal (Recipient of the Padma Bhushan award) and his wife Dr. Tahira Agarwal in Chennai, India, in 1957.
