“Clínica de Urgencias PZ Sociedad Anónima,” emerged to meet a need in the Southern Region, due to the high saturation of health services caused by population growth and health policies in recent years.

The Southern Zone had no second option, other than the emergency services of the Costa Rican Social Security Hospitals, for timely, high-quality urgent and non-urgent medical care. Thus, the idea of ​​implementing a Private Emergency Medical Clinic was born.

It's important to mention that the project in general included a pre-opening feasibility study, conducted with a statistically representative sample, which consolidated our successes.

We opened our doors for the first time on the south side of the 12 de Marzo School on February 9, 2005, and from then on, the residents of the Brunca Region have the opportunity to have a new alternative that meets their needs and expectations.

It maintains a computerized client base for efficient administration and continuous service quality evaluation1. The facility is designed for patient safety with emergency pull stations, smoke detectors, and multiple emergency exits
