Established in 2003, the Hospital de Emergência do Agreste Dr. Daniel Houly serves as a regional reference for medium and high-complexity emergency care. It addresses emergencies resulting from external causes, including traffic accidents, firearm or stab wounds, burns, drownings, falls, and poisonings. The hospital is equipped with 86 beds, comprising 23 adult ICU beds, 27 orthopedic beds, and 36 clinical beds.
