A Big shout out to Emory Johns Creek Hospital. Amazing surgeon's, nurses, anesthesia crew, entire staff are so professional and polite. It's been over two months to put my surgery and pain to rest today, not the way I wished to spend my birthday but I will travel the distance to get top notch medical care as they have given me. Looking forward to get a healthy happy life back.
I give the staff of the emergency room a 5.0 the administration and the blonde triage nurse a 0.
I arrived 11:40 am by ambulance. Unable to walk and pain scale succeeded 10.0 scale. I could not move without severe pain. If I laid down the pain was 9.5. My medical history is cancer survivor. Back pain and PTSD which is a direct result of being struck by a truck the morning of June 30th, 2023.
Patrick the Physician Assistant came in evaluated me and issued
Pain medication and steroids'.
The time is now 12:50 pm and I haven not seen a nurse. I have no remote to phone the nursing station. I cried out for a nurse. The blonde triage nurse arrived. And asked me what I was screaming about. I told her I need my pain medication. She was cold without compassion. She treated me unprofessionally as if I did not matter. My pain exceed the 10.0 scale and I am unable to move. 30 minutes goes by and no nurse. I phoned the operator of the hospital and asked to speak to a patient advocate. She connect me and still I have not heard from her.
