Emory University Hospital Midtown: Emergency Room is a 531-bed acute care teaching facility located in downtown Atlanta, Georgia. It is part of Emory Healthcare and is affiliated with Emory University School of Medicine. The Emergency Department (ED) is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, staffed with emergency medical physicians and nursing specialists. The ED has undergone significant renovations, nearly doubling in size to 18,300 square feet and increasing the number of treatment spaces from 21 to 34 beds.
