Fort Logan Hospital has served the community since 1963. The hospital moved in April 2008 to its current location at the junction of U.S. 150 and U.S. 27. The new facility provided for an expanded obstetrics unit. In addition, the Emergency Department was expanded and now includes a three-bed trauma room. The hospital has two operating rooms and an expanded Diagnostic Imaging Department that includes magnetic resonance imaging (MRI).
One wing of the hospital houses a walk-in and primary care clinic, with walk-in care provided seven days a week. In addition, Ephraim McDowell MedSource has a retail store in the wing. I recently delivered my son at the birthing spa in Stanford and would 1000% recommend to others. While I did have to end up having an emergency csection (the reason for my son's heart rate dropping several times while in active labor will forever be a mystery since there were/are no health concerns for either of us), Jamie and the nurses at the birthing spa went above and beyond to make a traumatic situation a little easier. Kelli and Dakota specifically were amazing, so kind, compassionate, and if it wasn't for them, I don't know if I would have recovered so well (especially emotionally). Both Kelli and Dakota were very supportive to my partner as well, especially during the emergency csection and immediately following it. Jamie and Dr. Miller both did an amazing job with my actual procedure and were very supportive postpartum and Jamie has been beyond understanding/supportive.

I delivered our first child at the Birthing Spa 2 weeks ago and I couldn’t recommend it more. We drove a hour and a half just to go there. The staff went above and beyond making sure we were comfortable, giving us our space to labor in peace and supplied us with any and everything we needed. They listened to my birth preferences without issue and allowed me to have the exact experience I wanted- a natural, unmedicated delivery. A wonderful massage therapist came the day after, three meals a day were supplied and the garden area was so peaceful. I’ll forever be grateful and recommend the Birthing Spa and Dr. Miller! Thank you!
