Founded in 1965 by the Chinese Evangelical Free Church, Evangel Hospital provides holistic, compassionate, and comprehensive healthcare inspired by Christian values. It is a nonprofit hospital aimed at serving physical, psychological, social, and spiritual needs through high-quality medical care. As the second private hospital in Kowloon City after St. Teresa’s, it has grown into a well-established institution with over 60 beds and multiple specialist departments.
The hospital operates a five-story building offering inpatient services including obstetrics and gynecology, general medicine, specialist outpatient clinics, and allied health services such as pharmacy, laboratory, physiotherapy, and radiology. Evangel Hospital also runs branch clinics in Sha Tin, Ngau Tau Kok, Cheung Sha Wan, To Kwa Wan, and Shau Kei Wan, alongside a dental centre in Lai King.
