Fairbanks Memorial Hospital (FMH), established in 1972, is a 152-bed acute care facility serving Interior Alaska. As the region's primary referral center, FMH offers comprehensive medical services across more than 27 specialties, including emergency care, intensive care, surgical services, and cancer treatment. I cannot say enough about FMH and the team of people of that helped us in a very difficult season of our life. My Dad was in a serious motorcycle accident on his solo trip from Canada. He was airlifted to FMH with life threatening injuries. I don’t believe he would be alive if not for this team. The Emerg team, ICU team and then the exceptional team on 3West lived up to their value of People First. The medical care was first class and the kindness and bedside excellence of the professional staff made our experience so much more positive than we could have ever hoped for.
