1. I attended a pre-admission clinic today in readiness of having open heart surgery.
From the moment I arrived at the car park, I was met by Carl who escorted us in his buggy to the main entrance. Wonderful service. After that, I was met with the most kindest, professional team, Sharon, Michelle, Lauren and Victoria to name but a few, who allayed any anxiety I had in a wonderful friendly way........Victoria, by chatting to me about my life in the UK. She did this so efficiently, I would have welcomed her to stay with us in Surrey, whenever we are both there at the same time. Overall, today was a great visit to a fabulous efficient hospital with the best team anyone could wish for.
2. I just want to give a big shout out to the nurses at the SAMU! I had to stay there for a few nights at the end of May, and the nurses there were amazing. They were so kind, they always made sure I was comfortable, and they even gave me milo! They made my experience as enjoyable as it could possibly be. So thank you all ☺️
