About Us

Fundação Hospitalar São Francisco de Assis (FHSFA) was founded in 2010 by the Metropolitan Council of Belo Horizonte of the São Vicente de Paulo Society. In January 2011, the hospital began operations, exclusively serving the Unified Health System (SUS). In 2012, the second unit was inaugurated in the Santa Lúcia neighborhood, dedicated to medium and high-complexity orthopedic procedures. Currently, FHSFA operates two units, with a total of 344 beds, including 52 ICU beds, and more than 1,300 employees. It offers services in 21 specialties, exclusively serving SUS patients.
