Fuzhou Pulmonary Hospital of Fujian Province is a national tertiary-level A-class specialized hospital. It was founded in 1952 and was formerly the 18th Field Hospital of the Chinese People's Liberation Army. The hospital covers an area of 140,000 square meters, with 538 open beds, more than 600 employees, more than 200 with middle and senior professional titles, and more than 70 masters and doctors. It has 27 clinical and medical technology departments, including respiratory and critical care medicine, tuberculosis, oncology, thoracic surgery, and pediatrics. There are currently 2 provincial-level key clinical specialties, 1 municipal-level key clinical specialties, and 1 Fuzhou-level clinical medicine center project. The three specialties of tuberculosis, respiratory and tumors have obtained national drug clinical trial qualifications at the same time, and have dual qualifications as a medical device clinical trial institution and an in vitro diagnostic technology clinical trial base.
