Gaba Pain Center was founded on the vision that “Pain-free and quality life, for all" is a basic human right and a mission to alleviate the profound impact of pain on patients and their families.
The idea of GPC came from the reality of living with pain and the challenges we and our loved one’s face trying to navigate through a maze of individual pain services providers. Pain patients needed an integrated, specialized and comprehensive pain center that provides all the services through a single approach with them at the center and services built around them.
In designing the center, we have worked with SOFPITAL and explored the needs of the patients and their families. We listened to pain doctors, pain nurses and the allied pain staff. We reviewed the literature, and we scanned the internet exploring what others have done and what patients are discussing in their web forums. We took our time to understand, and we took our time to identify the best design for what a model pain center should be.
