Until December 31, 1996, it was called Gavar Central Regional Hospital, and from January 1, 1997, it was renamed "Gavar Hospital" CJSC.
According to the decision of the Governor of Gegharkunik Region of the Republic of Armenia No. 92-A dated 08.05.2009, the "Gavar Medical Center" CJSC was reorganized through the merger of the "Gavar Hospital" CJSC and the "Gavar Maternity Hospital" CJSC.
According to the license N –K-XX-001361 (indefinite) issued by the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Armenia on 04.09.2009, the company carries out the following activities:
General therapeutic, obstetric, gynecological, neonatological, pediatric, general surgical, pathological-anatomical, emergency and urgent medical care, resuscitation, anesthesiology, infectious, ENT, physiotherapy, radiological diagnostics, laboratory and functional diagnostics, cardiology, obstetrics and gynecology general practice.
License K-XX-000383 issued on 12.11.2023. General medical practice, general surgical, pediatric general practice, neurological, psychiatric, ENT, laboratory diagnostic, (clinical, biochemical), physiotherapeutic, ophthalmological, endocrinological, immunoprophylactic, diagnostic, therapeutic dentistry, surgical dentistry, oncological, phthisiatric, dermatological, venereal, infectious diseases (infectious).
License K-XX-001113 issued on December 28, 2007. Family medicine.
License K-XX-001221 issued on July 21, 2008. Orthopedic dental, dental laboratory, gynecological.
License K-B-O-001669 was issued on 19.03.2012. A hemodialysis department was opened in the company.
License K-BO-002231 issued on February 10, 2017. Cardiology.
