Established in December 1992, the General Hospital of Trà Vinh Province began with a capacity of 400 beds. In August 2023, the hospital expanded to 900 beds and relocated to a new facility in Phường 7. The hospital comprises 8 specialized departments, 19 clinical departments, and 6 subclinical departments, with a dedicated team of 742 staff members, including 214 doctors. It offers a wide range of medical services, including inpatient and outpatient care, emergency services, and specialized treatments.
