Hospital General Rincón de Romos began operations on August 16, 1975, originally as a field hospital under IMSS-COPLAMAR. Since 1988, it has been integrated into the state health system (ISSEA). The hospital provides second-level medical care to residents of Rincón de Romos, Cosío, Tepezalá, Asientos, and neighboring municipalities, as well as some patients from Zacatecas. It is committed to disease prevention, timely and ethical healthcare, and minimizing complications and sequelae for its community
