Genesis Behavioral Hospital operates two inpatient behavioral health facilities in Louisiana.  Genesis Behavioral Hospital is a privately owned, 18 bed psychiatric hospital located in Breaux Bridge, Louisiana.  Genesis Behavioral Medicine Unit is a 10 bed psychiatric hospital managed by Genesis and located in Acadia St. Landry Hospital in Churchpoint, Louisiana.  Our hospitals provide inpatient behavioral health treatment for patients 21 years and older suffering with mental illness and/or dual diagnosis.  Our facilities offer compassionate, professional care in a safe setting fostering individual recovery and personal growth. 

Our treatment team works closely with individuals in our care and their identified support systems to develop a comprehensive, individualized plan of care and a personalized discharge plan designed to promote recovery and prevent relapse.  Genesis offers a continuum of care with  Partial Hospitalization Programs and/or Intensive Outpatient Programs in Lafayette, Crowley, New Iberia and Churchpoint.
