GITAM Hospital was started in the year 2010 in an unitary campus of 29.9 acres. The State-of-the-art facilities include 11 Operation Theatres(9 major, 2 minor), a Post Operative Ward, Acute Medical Care Unit, Intensive Care Unit (ICU), Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU), Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and Burns Intensive Care Unit (BURNS ICU). GIMSR is endowed 24 hours Central Laboratory under the supervision of qualified Pathologist, Micro-biologist and Biochemist for all routine and special Hematological, Serological, Micro Biological and Bio-chemical tests. The Radiology department is provided with X-ray machines of 600 MA, 400 MA and two mobile x-rays (100 MA and 60 MA) supported by two Ultrasound Machines. Ambulance services (2 Nos.) are made available at Hospital premises round the clock (24 x 7).
