Thoughtful Compassionate care is what we received today in the Emergency dept. It’s always stressful traveling then to add an ER trip. The nurse and the doctor were amazing with our 4 yr old granddaughter. If you need emergent care while traveling through this area here is the place to come.

My 4yo son broke his leg a few nights ago. At 8pm I was able to bring him into GRH's ER and we were quickly seen. He had X-rays taken, had his leg splinted and we were able to go home after only 2 hours. The doctor, nurse, tech and other staff explained everything very well and were very sweet and gave him a little teddy bear. I was also impressed the next morning that the VVH orthopedic office already had his xrays which were transferred over by GRH when they heard we would be going there to get his cast. Overall very pleased with our experience.
