About Us :

Gulab Devi Teaching Hospital was opened for admission of patients in November, 1934. The trustees responsible for managing the hospital gradually migrated to India in 1947. Begum Raana Liaqat Ali Khan, Sir Syed Muratab Ali, Prof.Dr.Amiruddin along with some other philanthropists became acting trustees in July 1948. A Managing Committee was formed to run this hospital as a Tuberculosis hospital. Since the time of partition of the Sub-Continent, strength of this hospital has increased has increased from 56 beds to 1500 beds. It provides free treatment to more than 90% of its patients.

I came from gujranwala. Try to travel by metro it was too crowded. I take Rickshaw up to Data Darbar, then through the AC coaster I reached. Well maintained hospital. There are three main gates. At 8:00 clock it was too crowded. First you enter you take a token from the information desk near the door, then go to the main counter show ID card to enter the data .

The experience at Gulab Devi Hospital was good overall. The staff is cooperative and professional, and the management is commendable. However, there is a need for improvement in cleanliness, especially in the washrooms. Ensuring better hygiene in these areas would enhance the overall experience for patients and visitors.
