Mater Research is the research arm of Mater, part of a collaborative research institute with The University of Queensland and a proud founding partner of the Translational Research Institute.

Professor Sailesh Kumar and Dr Lisa Gillinder from Mater have been named as finalists for the inaugural Frontiers Research Award in Research Australia’s Health and Medical Research Awards.

Great team and support from management . Work culture is very good. Everyone respects each other . Flexible hours and working environment. Good study and continuing professional support.

I really enjoyed my volunteer experienced work at Mater from Bio Engineering Department to Accounting Department as an administration assistant.
I learned a lot of important things working with them. It is such a fantastic opportunity to work with them.
