Hai Phong Dermatology Center evolved from the Hai Phong Dermatology Station, established in 1963. It is the main public institution responsible for dermatological care, disease prevention, and specialist training in Hai Phong. The center has played a pivotal role in the successful eradication of leprosy in the city and continues to provide comprehensive diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of skin diseases and sexually transmitted infections. With eight specialized departments, the center also supports lower-level healthcare facilities through training and technical guidance.
