Hainan General Hospital, also known as the Hainan Clinical Medicine Research Institution, was established in 1881 as the Haikou Gospel Hospital by an American priest. It merged with Hainan Hospital in 1927 and was renamed Hainan General Hospital in 1988. The hospital is a major healthcare facility in Hainan Province, China, offering comprehensive medical services and research opportunities
