Hanoi Psychiatric Hospital, also known as Central Mental Hospital No.1, is the leading psychiatric care institution in Northern Vietnam. Established from the Southern Staff Nursing Camp and officially designated as the Central Psychiatric Hospital in 1963, it is the top referral center for psychiatric disorders in the region. The hospital provides comprehensive diagnosis, consultation, treatment, and rehabilitation for patients with mental health conditions. It also serves as a major training center for psychiatrists and mental health professionals, and is involved in research and international cooperation
