Hospital Beds & Infrastructure

I received a kidney transplant at Hartford Hospital. The transplant program is number 1 in the nation. Simply put, from working with the team to be placed on the list, receiving a kidney, then the aftercare, the hospital has been superior. It was a literal battle to save my life that I had to fight every day to maintain health. The team is responsive, highly communicative and professional. My sister had open heart surgery on Jan 16, 2025. I spoke to Joanne who is in the Surgical Waiting Bliss area back in October since I was flying in from TN and needed to reserve a room at the Hudson House. Joanne is a charm. Made the reservation and arrived on time. On Jan 16, my sister was in surgery and I had the pleasure of meeting Joanne. Joanne really made the waiting experience a plus.
